Trondheim, Norway - Sorze4 AS announces an exciting coffee expedition to Brazil in late April and early May. The purpose of the expedition is to secure a shipment of coffee at favorable prices, despite expected lower coffee crops in Brazil this year.
According to the Brazilian state-owned coffee supply organization CONAB, coffee production in the 2025/26 season is expected to fall by 4,4%, totaling 51,8 million 60-kilogram bags. This decline is due to several factors, including the biennial low-yield cycle, drought and high temperatures during the flowering phase, which have affected productivity. Arabica coffee production in particular is expected to fall by 12,4% from the previous season, while conilon (robusta) coffee production is expected to increase by 17,2%.
