Eric Aldevino da Silva, a passionate coffee farmer from the farm Sítio Sao José (1200 m) in Ouro Fino, Minas Gerais. In the prestigious competition for specialty coffee in the Ouro Fino (MG) and Pinhal (SP) regions, his coffee beans of the type Macaw second place. We in sorze4 chose to buy this coffee lot that was from our regular cupper in Brazil cupped to SCA 88.
Sítio Sao José
Sítio Sao José has a rich history that spans generations. Eric Aldevino da Silva is the third generation of coffee farmers on the farm. His grandparents started coffee production here, and he has continued their passion and knowledge.
The farm is located in the lush region of Ouro Fino in Minas Gerais, known for its favorable climate and altitude. Here, coffee beans are grown with care and love, and the result is exceptional quality.
The coffee competition and Sorze4s Role
In the competition, Eric Aldevino da Silva's Arara beans were carefully assessed by Brazil's renowned cuppers and an international jury. With an impressive SCA score of 88+ these beans demonstrated their complexity, balance and unique flavor profile.
Sorze4, who has had a representative on the jury for the last 4 seasons, bought up the competition ticket with Eric Aldevino da Silva's coffee. This wonderful coffee will soon be available in Norway, and coffee drinkers can look forward to an exclusive taste experience.
