Sorze4 AS are pleased to announce that we have entered into a manufacturing agreement with Xi'an Naturemark Biology Co., Ltd for the production of our popular products, including JustSweet and Frøya ice cream mix. These products are in demand in South America, Asia and the EU.
The reason for this agreement is that production in Norway entails additional shipping costs and import duties for some of the ingredients, which can be up to 250%. This makes it economically unprofitable to produce such products in Norway. By moving production to Xi'an Naturemark Biology Co., Ltd, we can reduce costs and better meet international demand.
Sorze4 AS will continue to package consumer products at our factory in Stjørdal and deliver ingredients to Norwegian customers. However, prices for Norwegian food producers will unfortunately be somewhat higher than for those sold to other countries. This is solely due to the high Norwegian tariffs, even on products that are not produced, or are produced to a very small extent, in Norway. The purpose of these tariffs is possibly to protect Norwegian agriculture, but we do not see how high tariffs on products that are not produced in Norway help anyone. It only makes the Norwegian food industry less competitive.
