COFFEE MAKER

If you are a coffee enthusiast who appreciates taste, variety, and sustainability, you may find value in trying this coffee.

Selected by Claudia Münch®

A coffee available in many varieties, such as Rwanda Kinini, Colombia Danilo Perez, farm coffee from Brazil and Ethiopia Genika Gesha.

These coffees come from different countries and regions, and have different flavor profiles and aromas. The coffees are burnt Storm Coffee, in Trondheim, a coffee roaster that focuses on quality and sustainability. The coffees are packaged at Sorze4 AS (us), at Stjørdal, which also produces other products such as JustSweet, a natural and prebiotic low-calorie sweetener that, among other things, has been tested by Coca-Cola and is available for approx. 20 countries.

The price of the coffee varies* from NOK 99 to NOK 179 per 450 grams, depending on which variant you choose. The starting price, NOK 99/450 g, is only 10% above the average price in grocery stores (50/250), where there is a lot of low-quality coffee that lowers the average. the average price.

*Exceptionally, you get high-scoring coffee, with a score of 89 and higher. Then the price per kilo will naturally be somewhat higher.

Price is not the only indicator of quality. Specialty coffee is coffee that has received a higher score than normal coffee on an international scale that measures taste, aroma, body and balance, among other things. Specialty coffee is often grown, harvested and processed with more care and precision than regular coffee, and therefore has more complex and unique flavor nuances. Specialty coffee is usually more traceable and transparent than regular coffee, which means that you can know more about where and how the coffee is produced, and who is involved in the process. In any case, it applies to Selected by Claudia Münch which is exclusively farm coffee, or regional coffee.

Specialty coffee is usually more sustainable and fairer than regular coffee, as it often follows strict standards for environmental, social and economic responsibility.

Normal coffee in grocery stores is from 78 and below. Specialty coffee in grocery stores stops around 80-82.

Selected by Claudia Münch coffee is also cheaper than coffee from most micro roasters, small coffee roasters that produce specialty coffee in small quantities. For example, a 250 gram bag of specialty coffee from many Norwegian microbrewery costs between NOK 149 and NOK 199 (or more). It means that Selected by Claudia Münch coffee is approx 34% cheaper than coffee from such, if we calculate the same weight. Many of these buy green coffee from Sorze4 AS and we naturally encourage you to support local coffee production, but if you need to save without compromising on quality, Selected by Claudia Munch is today the best alternative.
